Four people is really the perfect number to get the maximum enjoyment out of the at-home pottery experience.

We’ve put together three short tips for making the night even more special.
1. Take time to setup the perfect workspace
Putting a little love into preparing a table to work on can go a long way to surprise and delight your guests. If you have a few chopping boards, they work great as work surface for each guest.
Unbox the kits and lay out the clay, tools and a dipping bowl of water for each seat. Dim the lights, light some candles and spin up a playlist. A bottle of vino or two helps get the creative juices flowing!
2. Make it a challenge!
A little competition can’t hurt and we find having a theme for the creations is such a great way of sparking the imagination. Some theme examples could be - Animal creations, Seasonal makes (christmas / halloween), or even a creation based on your partner’s favorite thing ever (the extra test to get it right!).
3. If at first you don’t succeed..
The clay will remain workable for hours before it starts to harden, so If anyone creates something they’re not not completely happy with - don’t worry! Remind them they can always squash it into a ball and start again.
