Sourced from Stoke-on-Trent, the world's capital for ceramics, our air-dry clay is soft, supple, easy to manipulate and dries a lovely light grey colour with a smooth surface making it a joy to paint on.

We've tested every air-dry clay we could get our fingers into, and this clay is hands down the best.

If stored unopened in the sealed bag the clay will last 3 - 6 months.

Kits in the Sculpd Home collection differ from our original Sculpd kits in a few ways:

1. The Guide

Sculpd Home kits come with a very detailed guide for making one specific homeware piece to perfection. With photos of every step and tips for achieving a professional finish, this guide will turn you from rookie to pro.

The guide is split into five stages based on the 72hr drying cycle of your clay:

Preparation - Main build - Texture and Details - Burnishing (smoothing) - Painting - Varnishing.

A video tutorial link is included to help you, along with steps for painting and decorating your creation.

2. Customisation Options

With the Sculpd Home Collection, you have the choice of what to include in your kit. If you have already had a Sculpd Kit, then you may not need the tools, sponge and paintbrushes. So, no need to keep em in!

3. The Packaging

Rather than using our traditional box, Sculpd Home Kits are packaged in a stylish new branded kraft bag and delivered safely to you in a protective mailer box.

If you have a Sculpd Kit or pottery tools and paintbrushes at home, then feel free to opt out of these and use your own!

All Sculpd Home kits come with white paint and varnish included. If you'd like to add colour to your piece we have acrylic paint sets and paint pens available further down the page.

If you prefer the rustic look of dried clay, or if you have your own acrylic paints, then you can also use these!
