I received a pottery kit for Mothers Day and it literally had everything you will need. Clay, tools, a sponge, paint, brushes etc . The clay had such a lovely feel I purchased another bag so we could all have a go. The photo is before the clay dried out and is unpainted or unvarnished. It dries to a lovely creamy white colour.

At first, I thought these were a bit pricey for a lump of clay and some wax, but I went ahead and bought some as a gift that I could do with my mother while I stayed with her over the holidays. I am so glad I did!! they were very well packaged with pretty minimal waste.  I loved being able to melt the wax in the bag.  We now have the candles that remind us of the fun we had when we're apart. all in all, I'd say it was well worth the price and I'd highly recommend!
